InsureVision AI Turning driving behaviour into actionable risk intelligence

InsureVision AI is a London-based InsurTech B2B SaaS company using computer vision and machine learning to transform fleet risk analytics. The company has secured venture backing and was recognised by CB Insights as a global InsurTech 50.

As Product Designer, I built the mobile and web platforms from 01, establishing the product experience and scalable design system for a data-heavy AI platform.

I led the end-to-end UX process, translating complex machine learning outputs into clear, decision-ready workflows for insurers and fleet operators, in close collaboration with product, data, and engineering teams.

Role: Product Designer
Contribution: 01 Product, Design System, Product strategy, AI Experience, Risk Visualisation

Problem

The team had several ideas but no shared understanding of the users or product direction, and we were starting from zero. As the sole designer, I needed to create clarity and drive the design process.

Solution

I ran UX workshops to align the team, then created wireframes, prototypes, and a 01 design system to build a clear direction. Through usability testing and iterations, I improved the experience based on real user feedback.

Main user groups

Fleet manager: The main purpose of a fleet manager is to review drivers' performance analysis and drivers' data.
Insurance Underwriter: User-based on fleet risk to check the trend of fleet management and check the event.

Driver performance:

From the overview, the fleet manager can track drivers in the fleet, and drivers' profiles provide more detailed information.

Driver Profile

Drive profile allows users to track a driver's behavior and event history and review related videos.

Event

The Event section is essential for both fleet managers and insurance users, helping them track incidents more efficiently and take quick action based on event priority.

Risk Analysis

Risk analysis identified key risks and improvement opportunities, helping fleet managers understand future data trends.

Usability Testing

Before handing off the design deliverables to the dev team, we performed more than 10 usability tests to validate our design decision.

Mobile design

Mobile design

After launching the platform, the team expanded to the mobile experience for drivers. The mobile app allows drivers to request and upload videos from their devices, capturing footage from cameras. Together, the platform and mobile app create a complete end-to-end insurance journey.
